Position Information: The Patient Accounts Representative is responsible for the check-in and out process of patients presenting for medical appointments.  Responsible for accurately entering and verifying identified data into the electronic medical record.  Ensures patients receive exceptional customer service, answers patient calls, completes scheduling duties, and completes insurance verification. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the missions, values, and management of WakeMed Physicians.

Experience Requirements: 1 Year Healthcare Required - And Scheduling Preferred

Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent  Required - And Associate's Degree in Business Administration Or Associate's Degree Related Field Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements: Not Applicable

Hours of Work: Rotating

Weekend Requirements: Every Other

Call Requirements: No call
