Position Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic Patient Registration Representatives who love interacting with patients, checking them in for their appointments, and coordinating follow-up visits. You will accurately perform administrative duties required for patient registration, including entering demographic and insurance information and collecting copays.

As a liaison to patients, the community, and healthcare professionals, this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure the delivery of the highest quality customer service. The work environment is high-volume and fast-paced, requiring you to greet and check in patients upon arrival and provide unsurpassed customer service to patients and families presenting to the physician practice or hospital for appointments, surgeries, therapies, or procedures. Registration and checkout are completed at the centralized welcome desks at hospital entrances and medical office buildings, as well as at the check-in desk within the physician practices. You will also be responsible for collecting point-of-service payments and may assist with scheduling appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with and check in patients for their appointments
• Coordinate follow-up appointments
• Accurately enter demographic and insurance information
• Collect copays and point-of-service payments
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a liaison to patients, the community, and healthcare professionals
• Schedule appointments as needed

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Licensure/Certification: Not applicable

Work Schedule

• Hours: Rotating schedule. Clinic hours are 8a-8p M-F and 8a-4p Sat. and Sun. 
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• On-Call: No call requirements
